Rex Sorensen, a CPA, is the principal shareholder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the largest radio and television broadcasting network in the Western Pacific, Sorensen Media Group. In addition to radio and television programming, Sorensen group companies provide programming and sales consulting services to radio stations throughout Asia, including Japan and China. SMG is the Fox and ABC affiliate for the Western Pacific.

His expertise in all facets of communications systems, including regulatory, installation, operation and maintenance issues, compliments the energy background of the other key members of the PowerSource management team. His experience is particularly valuable with regard to the critical Communications (B2B) Module and its ancillary training activities involving long-distance learning and communications.

With over 25 years of operational and planning experience in the Asia-Pacific region, Rex offers strategic guidance and close financial scrutiny of PowerSource operations, providing the safeguards essential to stability and transparency in a dynamic growth environment.

In addition to his broadcast activities, Rex is a successful property developer in the Pacific Region and Hawaii. He is the owner of related successful venture start-up companies in the region. His early career included stints on the audit team of a major accounting firm in Honolulu and as vice-president of finance for the largest real estate brokerage firm in Hawaii. He sits on various private corporate and autonomous governmental agency advisory and directorial boards.
