Daniel D. Swavely

Dan Swavely has been a community leader and successful businessman in Guam for 40 years. Educated at Pennsylvania State University and the University of Tennessee in Planning and Economic Development, he has been a leading property developer and strategic planning consultant. In the latter capacity he has developed prestige properties on the Island, concurrently serving as a strategic planning consultant for major international clients, including Home Depot, K Mart, Raytheon and Solomon Brothers. He is experienced in all facets of planning and permitting, essential elements in the successful development of PowerSource Energy Services projects.

Dan has also served during his career in various public service capacities including Chairman of the Guam Waterworks Authority, Chairman of the Guam Mass Transit Authority and COO and Chief Planner for the Guam Department of Public Works. He sits on numerous boards of directors and for many years served as the Flotilla Staff Officer for Operations for the U.S. coast Guard Auxiliary.
